Hattara DIN Rail

The Hattara® DIN Rail CU module can be used to connect a
Hattara® Din Rail radio module in order to pilot your equipment.

PRECAUTIONS
General information
Read this installation guide and the safety instructions carefully before starting installation of this product. All the instructions given must be
followed closely and this guide must be stored in a safe place throughout the service life of your product. Any installation or use outside the
specified field of application is forbidden. This invalidates the warranty and discharges Overkiz of all liability, as does any failure to comply with
the instructions given herein.
General safety instructions
- Do not try to open the housing.
- Avoid impacts or dropping.
- Never immerse the product in liquid.
- Do not use abrasive products or solvents to clean the product. Its surface can be cleaned using a soft dry cloth.
- Do not use this product outdoors. Do not route the cables outdoors.
- Only connect the product to the Hattara® DIN Rail power supply unit or to a compatible Hattara® DIN Rail module.
- Only connect the product to the Hattara® DIN Rail power supply unit after you have fastened it to the din rail.
- Never try to insert any object into the connectors or openings of the module.
- Any use or modification of the equipment not foreseen by this guide can endanger the installer or user.
The product can be switched off completely by disconnecting it from the Hattara® Din Rail power supply unit
INSTALLATION
Caution: equipment connected to the 230V socket.
Prerequisites
- A panel box equipped with a din rail, type TS-35/7.5 or TS-35/15 and a Hattara® DIN Rail power supply unit. (see the product guide for more
information).
- The power must always be switched off before the module is installed or removed.
- Installation must be carried out by a professional.
- Do not connect any load to the available USB port.
Installation
- Fasten the Hattara® DIN Rail CU module to the din rail, to the right of the Hattara® DIN Rail power supply unit, beginning at the top of the module
then pushing the bottom of the module towards the rail. If necessary, move the fastening clip downwards using a flat screwdriver.
- Connect the network cable to the RJ45 Ethernet connector (see "Product description" section).
- Push the module to the left in order to connect the Hattara® DIN Rail power supply unit.
- Stick the additional label (contained in the box) under the UC module on the electrical panel
In the event of a problem
Removing the CU module
- Switch the power supply off by disconnecting the Hattara® DIN Rail CU module from the Hattara® DIN Rail power supply unit.
- Place a flat screwdriver in the notch of the fastening clip
- Pull the lower part of the module while holding the fastening clip downwards.
