6 - MOUNTING OF THE HOSE (Models without hose)

HOSE REELS WITHOUT HOSE ARE DELIVERED WITH THE SPRING UNLOADED
Use a hose with dimension and pressure characteristics suitable for use.
(See characteristics table).
1. Remove the plastic cover to reach hose connection (Figure A).
2. Fix the hose reel to the bench.
Put the hose between the guide rollers, connect it to the fitting wich is inside the drum and
tighten by the suitable wrench (Figure B).
3. Wind the hose completely by turning the drum by hand (Figure C).
4. Take the end of the hose and turn the drum one full turn in the opposite direction to pre-load the
spring. Insert the end of the hose back between the guide rollers (Figure D).
5. Fix on the opposite end of the hose, the rubber locking pad (minimum 1m).
6. Unwind and rewind completely the hose to verify the proper operation (Figure E).
DO NOT PUT HANDS OR ANY OTHER THING INSIDE THE DRUM !
