WARNINGS
Safety and accident prevention instructions
The machine is to be considered a centralised vacuum unit connected by a per-
manent hose to various located vacuum points.
RUPES Spa is not liable for any direct or indirect damages due to failure to
comply with the instructions provided in this manual.
The machine must only be used by trained and qualified personnel.
The machine must be located in a dry and well-ventilated area where air is chan-
ged at least once an hour with 50% of the total fresh air without the aid of special
ventilation systems. The temperature of the work area must be between 10°C and
35°C with humidity between 50% and 90%.
Warning! - Explosion or fire hazard
- Do not vacuum flammable or explosive dust (i.e. magnesium, aluminium, asbe-
stos, etc.);
- do not vacuum flammable or explosive liquids (i.e. petrol, thinners, etc.);
- do not vacuum aggressive liquids or substances (i.e. acids , bases, solvents,
etc.);
- do not vacuum sanding dust from surfaces treated with paints that have not
completed the catalyst cycle;
- immediately disconnect the machine from the electrical mains if dust is dis-
charged;
- use the fire alarm system and leave the area in the event of fire.
Specific use
The machine is high stress qualified for industrial applications according to regu-
lations EN55014-1 and EN60335-1.
The machine is designed to vacuum dry sanding dust with all exposure limit va-
lues due to the work type.
The machine is equipped with a fitting for external exhaust of vacuumed and filte-
red air as required by the current regional and national laws.

INSTALLATION
Warning!
The machine must be installed and started for the first time by qualified per-
sonnel!
Turbine positioning (Fig. 1)
- The machine must be positioned on a solid and level surface at the distances in-
dicated in (Fig. 1), generally installed on the same or lower work surface.
- Avoid installing the turbine higher than the work surface.
- The turbine vents (6) must be kept clean and unclogged.
- Level the turbine using the adjustment feet (Fig. 3).
- After adjustments, tighten the lock nuts (Fig. 3 A).
- Connect the turbine's left coupling to the vacuum system (Fig. 2 A) with
50 cm. of 75 internal Ø flexible tube.
- The exhaust (Fig. 2 B) can be connected with the exterior.
START-UP
Minimum power supply requisites and connections:
Electrical power supply connections:
- Three phase voltage 400 V - 50 Hz (230 V - 60 Hz); with a suitably dimensio-
ned grounding wire;
- a circuit breaker must be installed upstream from the power line according to the
instructions provided for each turbine.
