Installation
ClimaForm and Armaflex adhesive processing guidelines in areas with high hu-
midity levels and high temperatures
High humidity and temperatures lead to a high solvent evaporation speed in the
Armaflex adhesive. This has the consequence that a water film (condensation) forms
on the adhesive surface as a result of the cooling produced during evaporation.
As a result of these particular conditions the following parameters must additionally
be adhered to in deviation and addition to the aforementioned installation instruc-
tions:

ClimaForm installation sequence (Fig. 2)
NOTICE
It is recommended that you remove the control module in order to facilitate the
installation of the ClimaForm and the application of the Armaflex tape. Observe
the installation and operating instructions for the pump while doing so. (Fig. 3)
NOTICE
Bond the sensor cable between pump housing and control module to ClimaForm
properly.
To this end, prepare ClimaForm around the sensor cable duct for downstream in-
stallation.
NOTICE
Under certain ambient conditions, condensate forms in the motor housing. This
drains off through the condensate drainage outlet of the motor housing. To pre-
vent condensation from getting into the ClimaForm, stick the Armaflex tape sup-
plied onto the ClimaForm to protect it.
Installation and operating instructions Wilo-ClimaForm
Surfaces for bonding must be dry and clean.
Apply a thin layer of Armaflex 520 adhesive on both sides. In contrast to the nor-
mal processing guidelines, bond the joining surfaces when wet.
Make sure that, depending on the humidity, temperature, material thickness and
practical processing conditions, adhesive can only be applied to a restricted sur-
face. Reference value for hoses: approx. 1 m.
Immediately secure seams by applying suitable adhesive tape across the seams at
20 cm gaps to prevent seams that have been bonded when wet from separating.
Only put insulated systems into operation after the adhesive's flash off time of
around 36 hours.
