Electrical safety
The electric motor has been designed for one
voltage only. Always check that the power supply
corresponds to the voltage on the rating plate.
Your D
WALT tool is double insulated
E
in accordance with EN 50144;
therefore no earth wire is required.
Using an extension cable
If an extension cable is required, use an approved
extension cable suitable for the power input of this
tool (see technical data). An undersized cable will
cause a drop in line voltage resulting in loss of
power and overheating. When using a cable reel,
always unwind the cable completely.
Also refer to the table below.

Adjusting the lever position (fig. E)
The adjustment lever (3) has been preset to the
optimum position. If it needs adjustment, proceed as
follows:
• Securely tighten the lever.
• Pull the lever out to disengage it from its nut.
• Position the lever as desired.
• Push the lever back onto its nut.
Mounting the optional wet cutting system (fig. F)
The optional wet cutting system allows wetting and
lubricating the cutting wheel, thus improving the
quality of cut and increasing the life span of the
cutting wheel.
• Attach the hose (a) to the inlet on the tool.
• Connect the hose adapter (b) to the water supply.
• Secure the wet cutting system to the depth
adjustment bracket (c) using the screw supplied.
• Position the nozzle (d) to the diamond wheel as
desired by adjusting the flexible hose (e).
Always use a leak circuit breaker when
using the tool for wet cutting.
Instructions for use
• Always observe the safety instructions
and applicable regulations.
• Ensure all materials to be cut are
secured in place.
• Hold the tool firmly.
• Apply only a gentle pressure to the tool.
Do not exert side pressure on the wheel.
• Avoid overloading. Should the tool
become hot, let it run a few minutes
under no-load condition.
Prior to operation:
• Install the appropriate cutting wheel. Do not use
cracked, damaged or excessively worn wheels.
• Wait for the cutting wheel to attain full speed
before attempting to cut.
Switching ON and OFF (fig. B)
The ON/OFF-switch of your tile cutter is equipped
with a lock-on button.
• To run the tool, press the ON/OFF-switch.
• For continuous operation, press the lock-on
