Safety Wall Strap
Tools required (Not Included) :
• Rubber Mallet
• Phillips Screw Driver
Step1: Attach bracket A securely to the back side of the
furniture using the short screw D, through the smallest hole of
the bracket A.
Step 2: Locate a wall stud in the wall. Place another bracket A
on the wall over the wall stud and 2 inches below the first A
secured to the back of your unit, using the long screw C
provided and through the smallest hole of A. Repeat Step 1
and 2 for the other side of the furniture when applicable.
Note: When wall studs are not available, depending on the wall
material you might require a wall anchor (not included). Ask
your local hardware store for more information.
Step 3: Place the furniture so that wall and furniture mounting
brackets are vertically in line. Lace the end of the safety wall
strap B through the larger hole of each A.
Bring both ends together and slide the flat end through the
locking end. Pull it until all slack is removed.
Step 4: Confirm that the strap is securely laced
and locked. To move the furniture after the
safety wall strap has been installed, simply
remove screw(s) C from the wall.
