causing a short
• Grid is clogged with
foreign objects
• Low UV output due to
aging of the black light
• Bug zapper is
positioned incorrectly
or operated at
suboptimal times
• Make sure the device is properly
plugged into a working outlet
• Check the circuit breaker or the surge
protection on the extension cord
• Unplug and examine the grid. Clean
debris with the included brush
• Request a replacement from the
manufacturer
• Make sure the black light is properly
seated into the socket
