base of the iron a few centimeters

ONCE YOU HAVE FINISHED USING
THE APPLIANCE
Select the minimum position (MIN)
–
using the thermostat control.
Unplug the appliance from
–
the mains.
Put the cable back in the cable
–
housing (G).
Remove the water from the
–
water tank.
Clean the appliance.
–
Cleaning
Disconnect the appliance from the
–
mains and allow it to cool before
undertaking any cleaning task.
Clean the equipment with a damp
–
cloth with a few drops of washing-
up liquid and then dry.
Do not use solvents, or products
–
with an acid or base pH such as
bleach, or abrasive products, for
cleaning the appliance.
Never submerge the appliance in
–
water or any other liquid or place it
under running water.
QUICK CLEANING
Check that the appliance is
–
cold (wait at least 3 hours after
disconnecting the appliance).
Fill the tank with approximately 1
–
liter of water (do not use vinegar or
other descaling agents).
Plug in the appliance and set the
–
temperature control to MIN and
start the SELFCLEAN program
(position 4).
Place the iron vertically on the sink
–
and press any of the steam buttons
(C) for 1 minute to pump the water
from the tank towards the iron.
Increase the iron temperature to
position 2.
Place the iron in a horizontal
–
position over the sink. Keep
pressing the steam button and
gently rock the iron back and forth
for 1 minute.
Unplug the ironing center from
–
the net and rub the soleplate
immediately with a damp cotton
cloth folded several times (never
use chemical products).
* Repeat the cleaning process at
–
least 2 times.
** We recommend carrying out the
–
cleaning process once a month to
extend the life of the ironing center.
If the water in your area is very hard
–
or you notice limescale coming off
the soleplate while ironing, use this
function more frequently.
Anomalies and repair
Take the appliance to an
authorised technical support
service if product is damaged
or other problems arise. Do not
attempt to disassemble or repair
the appliance yourself as this may
be dangerous.
