Seam sealing
Direct the nozzle at a right angle
and perpendicularly to the surface
at a distance of about 4 cm. Drag
evenly.
If the nozzle is held inclined it will
result in spatter at the edge and an
erratic spray pattern.
2.3 Fine spraying
The adjustable spray air quantity and material feed allows individual applications according to
the demand. If the material flow rate is reduced, it results in finer structures. Reducing the spray
air quantity and the material feed results in narrower seams and lower working speed. Perform
spraying tests.
Note
Always use new nozzles. Cured material on the double nozzles causes material plugging and
results in uneven coatings. Old material impairs the results. If possible, always use new material
and observe the processing and storage instructions of the sealing compound manufacturer.
2.4 Processing general sealing compounds
* Cut off tip of cartridge or pierce aluminum cartridge at the front.
* Remove flanged cap at the rear on aluminum cartridge.
* Cut material nozzle and screw on cartridge.
* Place the cartridge into the gun.
* Screw on black screw cap (flat shape, Item 3).
* Completely close spray air regulator (blue adjustment screw).
* Position nozzle against surface at an angle and drag evenly.
* It is possible to meet your individual, specific requirements by adjusting the material feed
regulator (red adjustment screw).
Note
Always use clean nozzles. Cured material on the nozzle causes material plugging and results in
uneven coatings. Old material impairs the results. If possible always use new material and
observe the processing and storage instructions of the sealing compound manufacturer.
3. Maintenance
* Keep the body of the gun free from material residues.
* Do not immerse gun into solvents.
* Do not use any aggressive solvents for cleaning.
* Slightly grease sealing compound ring on cylinder tube from time to time (Item 5).

Sealing compound line
Completely close spray air regulator (blue
adjustment screw), direct nozzle at an angle
on the surface and drag evenly.
Never plug the nozzle by directing it straight
on the surface. In this case the medium
might penetrate to the rear between the
material nozzle and air nozzle into the gun
and damage it.
