Installing AA Batteries

WARNING:
Pay close attention to the battery holder's (+)
and (-) markings for proper battery insertion.
Batteries must be of same type and capacity. Do
not use a combination of batteries with different
capacities remaining.
On the back of the Detector, lift up the battery

Using the Detector

Attaching the Detector to the Clamp

Illuminating the LCD Screen
When the Detector is ON, press
the light on the LCD screen.
NOTE: If after 60 seconds, a laser beam is not
detected or a button is not pressed on the keypad, the
LCD screen will automatically turn off.
Adjusting the Accuracy Setting
By default Accuracy is set at HIGH. Use a lower
accuracy settings when:
• A high accuracy setting is not needed.
• A stable reference level cannot be obtained due to
vibrations.
• Heat haze interferes with the laser beam.
