MAINTENANCE & CLEANING
WARNING!
You must disconnect the device from the mains socket before cleaning. Ensure that no liquids get into the product while
you are cleaning it. The use of solvent-containing or aggressive cleaning agents as well as alcohol or thinners is prohibited
as it could damage the coating or the surface of the product. You should therefore clean the product with a lint-free, ever
so slightly damp soft cloth only.
It is recommended to remove dust and dirt from the device and the air inlet once a month using a soft cloth. Only use
suitable, non-aggressive cleaning agents for this purpose. Clean the filter carefully with a vacuum cleaner once a month.
However, use a vacuum cleaner only for the side of the HEPA filter, never for the side of the activated carbon filter, so as
not to damage it! Never wash the filter with water!
In order to achieve an ideal air cleaning effect, it is recommended to change the filter every 3 - 6 months at the latest,
depending on the usage. Use in heavily polluted environments can significantly shorten the service life of the filter in
some cases.
Storage
All parts must be completely dry before storing.
• Always store the product in a dry place.
• Store the product out of children's reach in a securely locked place and at a storage temperature between 5 °C and
20 °C (room temperature).
Check solutions
Is the power plug connected correctly?
 Insert the mains plug into a suitable socket.
Has the unit been properly assembled after cleaning/filter change?
 Assemble all serviceable parts of the unit correctly.
Have you placed the device in a place where little air gets in?
 Place the device in a suitable, well-ventilated location.
The sensor requires approx. two minutes lead time to be able to mea-
sure the air quality. Wait briefly and then check the air quality again.
Device or filter are not free?
 Clean the device and remove any dirt from the filter. If the problem is
still not solved, replace the filter.
