Before using for the first time
1.
Remove all packaging. Keep all plastic bags away from chil-
dren!
2. Wash the detachable parts refer to latter "Cleaning". Dry the
parts before re-assembling and make sure all parts are cor-
rectly assembled.
3. Flush the system as per following "Making coffee with ground
coffee" with clean cold water, but no ground coffee inside.
Important: You cannot brew coffee if you have not flushed the appli-
ance for the first time, or have not used the appliance for a few days.
Making coffee with whole beans
1.
Uncover the water tank lid and fill with fresh cold water to re-
quired level. Then close the water tank lid.
2. Tips: You can use the jug with level marking to measure the
quantity of water approximately.
3. Unlock the top lid by pressing its locking button. Put desired
quantity of whole beans into the filter.
Note the following:
1.
Make sure the filter has been assembled correctly as figure be-
fore adding beans.
2. Do not fill beans above the max mark on the filter, otherwise
the appliance could malfunction and/or overflow.
3. Lock the top lid by pressing downwards until heard the click.
4. Place the jug on the warm plate.
5. Plug into the outlet, switch on the appliance by turning the
control dial clockwise from "OFF" to "beans" position, the on/
off & working indicator light will light up.
6. Press the "START" button, the appliance starts to work, the
on/off & working indicator light flickers.

The appliance will grind the beans for about 23 seconds at first,
then automatically turns into the brewing.
8. The appliance will brew until the water tank is emptied, then
enter into keep-warm mode. The on/off & working indicator
light stops flickering. The warm plate will keep the brewed cof-
fee at: Above 75 °C in half an hour.
9. If you have no operate the appliance once again, it will auto-
matically shut itself off when reach the default time. You have
to turn the control dial anticlockwise to "OFF" position then
unplugging from the outlet.
