INSTRUCTION MANUAL
CAR SEAT INSTALLATION
WARNING! Never install the seat in a passenger
seat equipped with a front airbag due to the risk
of serious injury or even death.
1.Install seat for children in age group 0+
(weighing between 0 - 13 kg) with 3-point car
safety belt.
WARNING! For children weighing 9 kg and
under, the seat must be installed facing
backwards. It is recommended to install the seat
backwards for children weighing up to 13 kg.
Place the seat in the passenger seat facing
backwards. Fasten the base pad to the front seat
base. You should hear a characteristic "click" (fig
1). Recline the seat to maximum position no. 5
(fig. 2) (see "Seat recline adjustment"). Pull out
the car seat belt and fasten it to the appropriate
buckle (fig. 3). Arrange the seat belt to have the
lap strap running under the seat base through
the metal guide (fig. 4) and the shoulder strap
through the blue guides in the rear part of the
seat (fig. 5). Tighten the seat belt (fig 6).
2.Seat installation for group I (children
weighing 9-18 kg) with ISOFIX connectors
and Top Tether.
Before installation, make sure that the
passenger seat is equipped with ISOFIX Top
Tether connectors (usually in the rear part of the
base, in the trunk, or on the back shelf – see car
manual for details).
Press the ISOFIX connector release buttons and
pull out the connectors (fig. 7). Push the ISOFIX
connectors to the passenger seat anchors until
they lock. You should hear a characteristic "click"
(fig. 8, 9). Make sure that the seat is fastened
tightly and does not wobble. If the seat wobbles
and the ISOFIX connectors are not in place,
repeat the actions presented above (fig.10).
Hook Top Tether to appropriate anchor (fig.
11, 12, 13). If required, press the button on the
strap buckle to extend it (fig. 14). Next, tighten
EN
the strap by pulling its end (fig. 15). If the strap
is appropriately tight, you will see the green
indicator on the buckle (fig. 16).
3.Seat installation for group I (children
weighing 9-18 kg) with 3-point car seat belt.
Recline the seat to maximum (see: "Seat recline
adjustment").
Pull out the bottom backrest lock and push the
backrest forward (fig. 17). Lead the car seat
belt between the seat's backrest and shell and
lock it in the appropriate buckle (fig. 18). Open
the shoulder strap guide (the one closer to the
buckle) and the harness tension adjuster cover
(fig. 19). Run the shoulder strap through the
open guide and the lap strap through lap strap
guides and under the tension adjuster cover (fig.
20). Tighten the straps in the buckle and close
the shoulder strap guide and tension adjuster
cover (fig. 21). Make sure that the tension
adjuster is properly closed. You should hear a
characteristic "click" (fig. 22). Adjust the shoulder
strap to have it running though the middle of the
upper seat shell, push the backrest back into
the shell, and push in the lock (fig. 23). Pull out
the upper lock partially and adjust the shoulder
strap to have it running above the upper lock
(fig. 24). Push the upper lock all the way back
inside (fig. 25).
4.Seat installation for group II (children
weighing 15-25 kg) with 3-point car seat belt.
Before installation, remove the safety harness
together with covers and the baby insert (see:
"Safety harness removal") (fig. 26).
Place your child in the seat and fasten with the
car seat belt together with the seat. Lead the
shoulder strap through the shoulder strap guide
in the top part of the seat and lead the buckle
through the slot in the seat near the connection
of the backrest and the booster seat and click
the buckle into place with the appropriate buckle
of the passenger seat (fig. 27). Tighten the
straps and make sure that they fit your child
snugly (fig. 28).
