INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
E-MT1A, E-MT3A, and E-MT4A Series
WIRING
1.
Connect the black fixture lead (120V) to the HOT (usually black)
supply lead.
2.
Connect the white fixture lead to the white supply lead
(COMMON).
3.
Connect ground as appropriate.
(NOTE: This fixture will have either a "Green Ground lug" or a
ground wire for grounding the fixture.)
For Ceiling or Arm Mount – The ground lug or wire is located in the
J-box provided.
For Pendant Mount – to access the ground lug:
a. Remove cage and globe.
b. Remove (2) knockouts on gasket inside of fixture to
reveal two screws.
c. Remove (2) screws and separate housing from pendant
hub. (Ground lug is located inside pendant hub.)
4.
Cap and insulate all unused leads.
5.
Be sure any unused wiring entrances are closed with closure plugs
provided.
