ATTENTION:
Never crimp or cut cables while they are connected
to powered equipment.
The module is not provided with additional protection
against short circuit, therefore it is recommended to
use a power supply with the correct specifications.
Mordomus shall not be liable for any damages
resulting from the use of our equipment outside the
specifications and/or for a purpose other than that
intended.
Due to the nature and reduced size of the module it is
not contained in any type of encapsulation and
should be treated accordingly. Prevent contact
iOCT41
between the module and any metallic or conductive
surface.

HW 1.0
MDiBus and 15VDC power supply connection: The iOCT41
should be connected to the MdiBus and the power supply via the
iPSB module using UTP Cat6 cable.
connections in the previous Table should be respected. The
example specifies the wiring from iOCT41 to the branch 1 of the
iPSB module.

Connecting more than one iOCT41 on the same iPSB branch:
The connection of multiple iOCT41 modules in the same extension
is possible as long as the MDiBus passes through all the iOCT41
modules and the last iOCT41 module has the MDiBus return
connected to the MDiBus A IN and MDiBus B IN. See
Enrollment:
To enroll the iOCT41 module proceed as follows:
1.
Make sure that the iOCT41 is powered by a suitable
power supply and connected to the MdiBus via an
iPSB module
,
2.
In the Mordomus software access the menu
Configurations and access the sub-menu Modules/

Addresses.
3.
On the iOCT41, press and hold the addressing button
for at least 1sec. The green LED

4.
The iOCT41 should be added automatically to the list

and the green LED
should stop blinking.

Types of digital input clicks: A single click is performed by
3
pressing the button connected to the corresponding digital
2
input briefly (approx. 1/10 second). A double click is performed by
pressing the button briefly (approx. 1/10 second) twice. A long click
4
is performed by pressing the button for longer than 1 second.
1
Inputs set for detector reading (movement, gas, etc.) are
limited to one event/detection every 20 seconds. After an
4
event, no other events will be detected for 20 seconds on this
input.
1
The input type of each channel as well as other parameters
1
can be defined in the Mordomus Software by selecting the
desired input in Configurations, Modules/Addresses.
