09 | MAINTENANCE
09.1 REPLACING FLASH TUBE
CAUTION
1. Let the fl ash cool down completely to avoid burns!
2. Make sure to turn off the studio fl ash at the main switch (4).
3. Never touch the fl ash tube with your bare hands. Greasy residue my cause
splintering of the fl ash tube during use! Always wear cotton gloves (microfi -
ber cloth available from DÖRR) or use a clean cloth when replacing the fl ash
tube.
1. Use pliers to wind off the thick fl ash wire from the brackets.
2. Unplug the fl ash tube by carefully pulling out the upper two fl ash tube connec-
tors.
3. Plug in the new fl ash tube. Connect the two fl ash tube connectors again with
the base.
4. Wrap the thick fl ash wire around the bracket again.

the replacement of fl ash tube or modelling light.
09.2 CLEANING AND STORAGE
Never use aggressive cleansing agents or benzine to clean the device. We recom-
mend a soft, slightly damp microfi ber cloth to clean the outer parts of the device.
Before cleaning make sure to remove the battery. Store the device in a dust-free,
dry and cool place. This device is not a toy – keep it out of the range of children.
Keep away from pets.
