and nuts (42) to fasten the two table supports
(46) to the saw table.
Place the extension table (47) on the table
supports (46) and use the supplied fasteners to
bolt it to the table supports.
Important: When fastening the table width
extension make sure that the slide (45) of the
cross fence can be moved smoothly between
the saw table and the table width extension.
7.2 Assembling the cross fence (Fig. 3)
Use the hex screw (44) and the wing nut (51b) to
fasten the slide (45) to the guide bracket (52).
Make sure that the pin (b) of the slide engages
in the hole of the guide bracket (52).
Fit the U-washer (50) and the sleeve (49) as
shown in the drawing.
Slide a hex screw (48) into the middle slot of the
fence rail (53) and insert it through the guide
bracket (52).
Push the sleeve (49) over the hex screw (48)
and fasten with the wing screw (51).
7.3 Fitting the saw blade (Fig. 4)
Caution! Pull out the power plug.
Raise the saw table (1) to its top position
(see 8.3).
Undo the two hex screws (16).
Take off the chip box (15).
Undo the nut (17) with a size 19 wrench on the
nut itself and a second fork wrench (size 8) on
the motor shaft (a) to apply counter-pressure.
Caution! Turn the nut in the direction of rotation
of the saw blade (4).
Take off the outer flange (19) and pull the old
saw blade (4) off the inner flange (20) by
dropping the blade at an angle.
Clean the mounting flange (19 / 20).
Fit the new saw blade in reverse order.
Caution! Note the direction of rotation (see
arrow on the saw blade).
7.4 Adjusting the splitter (Fig. 5)
Setting for covered cuts:
Lower the table (1) to its bottom position.
Undo the thumb screw (21) and remove the saw
blade guard (2).
Slacken the two hexagon socket-head screws
(24) with the supplied socket wrench (35).
Move the splitter (5) to its bottom position.
Adjust the splitter (5) so that the distance
between the saw blade (4) and the splitter (5)
equals 3 - 5 mm. The tip of the splitter has to be
0,5 - 1 mm below the tip of the top saw tooth.
Tighten the two hexagon socket-head screws
(24).
Important!
After making a covered cut it is imperative to
return the splitter to its top position and to refit
the guard hood.
14
The splitter has to be adjusted each time the
saw blade is changed.
7.5 Fitting the saw blade guard (Fig. 5)
Move the splitter (5) to its top position.
Take the thumb screw (21) out of the saw blade
guard (2).
Mount the saw blade guard (2) on the splitter (5)
and align.
Use the thumb screw (21) and the nut (56) to
fasten the saw blade guard (2) to the splitter (5).

The red pushbutton (d) has to be pressed to
switch off the saw.
The outer cover (b) can be closed and secured
with a padlock to prevent the saw from being
switched on without permission (e) (child guard).
8.2 Parallel stop (Fig. 7)
The parallel stop (7) has to be used when slitting
wood pieces.
Slide the parallel stop (7) to the right or left side
of the saw table (1).
Important: The parallel stop has to be clamped
on the right-hand side of the saw blade when
cutting narrow workpieces.
Make sure that the lugs of the clamping device
(33) latch in place underneath the saw table (1),
and check that the two toggle levers (13) are in
their bottom positions.
The parallel stop (7) can be set to the required
dimension with the help of the scale engraved
on the saw table (1).
Important: Please note that the scale is
adjusted to the centre of the saw blade, i.e.
1.3 mm have to be deducted from the value
indicated on the engraved scale.
To fix the parallel stop (7) on the saw table (1),
push the two toggle levers (13) upwards.
8.3 Adjusting the cutting height (Fig. 8/9)
Slacken the four thumb screws (28).
The saw table (1) can be raised or lowered to
adjust it to the required cutting height.
The cutting height can be read off the scale (x)
