the output of the audio-visual equipment plugged in the auxiliary socket (A) (i.e. what is being recorded),
provided the TV is set to position AV or channel 0.
6.2 To record any TV broadcast (except Canal+), tune the VCR to the desired channel and put it in the
«Record» mode.
During this process, it is possible to have the following displayed on the TV set:
all the TV programmes, normal operation of your television;
Canal+, to do so, tune your TV set to the Canal+ channel;
the output of the audio-visual equipment plugged in the auxiliary socket (A) of the switch, provided your
TV is set to position A or channel 0.

Recording Canal+
In order to record Canal+ while watching Canal+ (it is necessary to display Canal+), tune your TV to the
Canal+ channel (not to channel 0) and set the VCR to position AUX or EXT and in the «Record» mode.
In this event, there is no other operation possible.
7. MANUAL SELECTION OF ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS
You can select any active equipment manually.
Press key (1) until you can see the desired image. While doing so, the light indicator (2) remains off, meaning
that the switch is not working in Automatic.
In the manual mode, you can display the output of the equipment plugged in the auxiliary socket (A) whilst
recording from the equipment connected to the auxiliary socket (B); light indicators (3) and (8) being on.
Likewise, it is possible to display the output of the equipment plugged in the auxiliary socket (B) whilst recording
from the equipment connected to the auxiliary socket (A); light indicators (4) and (7) being on.

8. USEFUL INFORMATION

Whatever the type of installation set up to suit your equipment, mind that you can always record Canal+ on a
second VCR plugged in the DIN socket at the rear of the Canal+ decoder.

9. TECHNICAL INFORMATION

The auxiliary socket (A) of the switch has been designed to detect video or commutatinG voltage (slow
commutation). The auxiliary sockets (B) and (C) are designed to detect slow commutation.
This switch detects 16/9-standard programmes automatically, in order to activate this mode on (panoramic)
16/9 TV sets.
The sound of the telecast being watched is automatically transmitted to the Hi-Fi equipment (see FIGURES 1
and 2).
