any TV broadcast other than Canal+, by tuning your TV set to the desired channel, normal operation of your
television;
the output of the audio-visual equipment plugged in the auxiliary socket (A) of the switch, provided your TV is in
position AV or channel 0, the red light indicator (3) will turn on; the red light indicator (7) will also turn on,
showing that recording from this equipment would be possible (which is impossible in the present situation,
since the VCR is already recording Canal+);
the output of the audio-visual equipment plugged into the auxiliary socket (B) of the switch; to do so, put your
TV in position AV or channel 0, the red light indicator (4) will turn on, the red light indicator (8) will also turn
on, showing that recording from this equipment would be possible (which is impossible in the present situation,
since the VCR is already recording Canal+).
4. INSTALLATION WITH A CANAL+ INCOMPATIBLE VÍDEO
(Video with 1 euroconnector)
4.1 See FIGURE 2.
IMPORTANT: WL1003 NEW must be in Automatic, i.e. the green light indicator (2) must be on; setting is
done with push-button (1).
5. DISPLAY ON TV SET WITH A CANAL+ INCOMPATIBLE VIDEO
5.1 In order to play the audio-visual equipment plugged in the auxiliary socket (A) of the switch, turn on the
equipment and set your TV to position AV or channel 0. The frontal AUX1 red light indicator (3) will turn
on.
Indicator (7) will also turn on, meaning it is possible to record the output of that equipment. Refer to the
«Recording» section.
5.2 To see Canal+, with the decoder plugged into the auxiliary socket (B) of the switch, tune your TV set to the
Canal+ channel. The frontal AUX2 red light indicator (4) will turn on.
Indicador (8) will also turn on, meaning it is possible to record Canal+. Refer to the «Recording» section.
5.3 To watch a videotape, when the VCR is plugged in the auxiliary socket (C) of the switch, press the VCR
«playback» button. The frontal AUX3 red light indicator (5) will turn on.
IMPORTANT: In all those cases with display on the TV set, only the equipment that you want to play must be
on; all the other appliances must be off or inactive.
6. RECORDING WITH A CANAL+ INCOMPATIBLE VIDEO
Configuration with the Canal+ decoder plugged in the auxiliary socket (B) and the VCR connected to the
auxiliary socket (C).
6.1 In order to record from the audio-visual equipment plugged in the auxiliary socket (A) of the switch, turn
on the equipment and set the VCR to position AUX or EXT and in the «Record» mode.
The red light indicators (3) and (7) will turn on.
During this process, it is possible to have the following displayed on the TV set:
any TV programme (except for Canal+), normal operation of your television;
