STEP 6)
Adjust the pressure regulator, clockwise to increase, counterclockwise to
decrease motor speed. This adjustment will increase or decrease air flow
(cfm) output of the compressor. Set motor speed to achieve the required
pressure (psi) output as specified by the respirator manufacturer.
STEP 7)
With the compressor running and respirators attached, loosen the relief valve
lock nut. Adjust outlet pressure to the setting recommended by the respira-
tor manufacturer. DO NOT EXCEED 15psi output pressure. Turn the
knob clockwise to increase pressure, counterclockwise to decrease pressure.
Retighten the lock nut. The unit is now operational.
Note: Do not back the adjustment knob all the way out while unit is pres-
surized. The loss of internal parts may occur.
Note: The proper amount of oil mist has already been factory preset.
However, depending on the viscosity of the oil being used, slight adjust-
ments may be necessary. With the compressor running, the proper oil
mist should be one drop per minute. This oil mist adjustment screw is
located next to the oil fill cap. Turn this screw clockwise to decrease or
counterclockwise to increase oil flow.
