WORKING PRINCIPLE
The anti-blocking system provides the water fl ow only after the release of the com-
mand button and assures its stop even if the button is locked in working position (ex.
for an act of vandalism). NOTE: the fl ow time complies with the European norm and
can be modifi ed within the tolerances established by it.
2. WARNINGS
Do not expose the tap to temperatures lower than 5°C (for example during winter-
•
time): otherwise arrange a drainage in time, in order to remove any water residual.
For a proper functioning, you should use FILTERED WATER: the presence of impurities
•
may damage the self-closing cartridge. In case of mineral-rich water, we suggest
installing a water softener.
In case of a temporary closure of the implant (for maintenance or for seasonal clo-
•
sure), purge the up-streaming water supply before reopening the implant.
We suggest installing a check valve on the water supply lines, so to help eventual
•
maintenance operations.
In case of supply with pre-mixed water, we suggest using a thermostatic mixing
•
valve.
The fl ow time depends directly on the water pressure: the declared fl ow times refers
•
to a 3 bar dynamic pressure, according to European norms.
In case of fi rst installation, make sure you have properly purged the pipes.
•
During installation handle the tap with care do not damage it.
•
For a proper installation and operation of the tap, it is recommended to observe the
•
following indications regarding the connection of the hoses (if any). These must not
be installed while in tension, traction and bending, they must respect a bending radi-
us of ~ 90mm. It is advisable to tighten by hand and not to use any key, lever and / or
tool, as this could damage them and compromise the operation. Allocate the hoses
in an accessible and inspectable place that favors any replacement, away from any
