BICYCLE HOLDER, TOWBAR MOUNTED

If several bicycles are to be loaded on to
the bicycle holder, position the bicycles
in opposite directions with the heaviest
bicycle innermost.

Check that the inside bicycle does not
make contact with the car's tailgate. If
necessary, loosen and turn the handlebars,
or move the bicycle outwards one position.
NOTE
Remember that exhaust gases from the
car are hot, and may damage the bicycle
holder or its load. This applies in particular
to the parts made of plastic. If necessary,
route the exhaust gases away from the
bicycle holder.

Positioning the frame holder
–
Tighten the frameholders around the
bicycle frames.
–
Tighten the bicycle wheels with the straps.
–
Lock the frame holder.
