OPERATION
The appliance is intended only for domestic use, not for professional use.
The following description is associated with the image on page 2:
1. Lid
2. Max. level hot milk
3. Max. level milk froth
4. Min. fill level
5. Jug
6. On/off button (warm)
1.
Take the appliance out of the packaging.
2.
Clean the appliance (see 'Cleaning and maintenance').
Frothing milk (warm)
1.
Place the appliance on a flat, level surface.
2.
Place the whisk (12) on the shaft (5).
3.
Pour the milk into the jug (6) (no more than the lowest MAX indication (3) and replace the lid (1)).
4.
Plug in the power cord and place the jug on the base (9).
5.
Press the on/off button (warm) (7) once. The indicator light will now light up.
6.
The appliance switches off automatically when the milk has frothed. Then take the jug off the base
and pour out the milk.
Frothing milk (cold)
1.
Repeat steps 1 to 4 for: frothing milk (warm)
2.
Press the on/off button (cold) (8) once. The indicator light will now light up.
3.
The appliance switches off automatically when the milk has frothed.
4.
Remove the jug from the base and pour out the milk.
Tip: long-life milk gives the best froth results. This is because it contains relatively more proteins than
fresh milk. Special foamed milk is also available in the more high-end supermarkets.
Heat milk
1.
Place the appliance on a flat, level surface.
2.
Place the mixer (11) on the shaft (5).
3.
Pour the milk into the jug (6) (no more than the highest MAX indication (2) and replace the lid (1)).
4.
Plug in the power cord and place the jug on the base (9).
5.
Press the on/off button (warm) once. The indicator light will now light up.
6.
The appliance switches off automatically when the milk is at the correct temperature.
7.
Remove the jug from the base and pour out the milk.
Note: let the appliance cool down for at least 3 minutes before using it again. Otherwise, the device will
automatically switch to self-protection mode after the device has been used 5 times in a row. When
the device enters self-protection mode, the indicator lights will flash. After about 5 minutes the
indicator lights will go out. Once these have gone out, the device can be used again.
Tip: you can also stop the device in the meantime by pressing the same button again.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1.
Remove the plug from the wall socket and allow the appliance to cool down sufficiently.
2.
Clean the mixer and whisk in warm soapy water. Rinse well and then dry thoroughly.
3.
Never immerse the appliance in water and never run it under the tap. Only clean the device with
a damp cloth and make sure that no moisture penetrates the electrical connections. Then dry the
device thoroughly.
Note: do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents or sharp objects (such as knives or hard brushes)
when cleaning.
