Installation

1 Mount the batteries into remote control unit
Two 1.5V batteries of type AAA are required. Mount the batteries taking
care of the correct polarity +/-. See picture on the bottom of the battery
compartment.
Note! Do not throw used batteries away with the household garbage, but
take them to a special waste disposal site.
2 Connect the antenna
Connect the aerial cable coming from the aerial wall outlet to the "AN-
TENNA" connection of the digital receiver.
Connect the "LOOP OUT" connection of the digital receiver to the
antenna connector of the TV using a coaxial cable.
Note! If you connect a video recorder to the system, connect the cable
from the "LOOP OUT" connection of the digital receiver to the antenna
input of the video recorder and the antenna output of the video recorder
to the antenna connector of the TV.
3 Connect the Scart cable
Connect the Scart cable between the "TV" Scart connector of the digital
receiver and the Scart connector of the TV.
Note! If there are several Scart connectors in the TV, connect the cable to
connector equipped with RGB connections. Also the cable must be
suitable for the RGB connection.
4 Connect the mains lead
Connect the mains lead to a 230 V/50 Hz mains wall outlet.
5 Switch the television on
Swith the television on and select the programme number correspond-
ing to the Scart connection.
6 Switch the digital receiver on
Switch the digital receiver on by pressing the stand by button POWER on
the front panel.
