Disassembly
1. Remove trim lines L and ground cable D from cyl-
inders T.
Make note of how trim lines are routed and secured for
reinstallation.
2. Drain fluid from lines. Properly catch and dispose
of fluid.
3. Remove cap screws S and plate P, then remove
trim lines L and ground cable D from pump,
discard all.
4. On inside of boat, disconnect trim pump power
supply harness H from engine harness. Remove
the connector housing from the pump harness.
Save housing.
5. Remove bolts B securing pump/cover to TSK.
6. Remove pump. Pull grommet and power supply
harness H through hole in TSK.
Assembly
Trim lines L, ground cable D, plate P, cap screws S, and
large o-rings R are mounted to the pump cover C and
pump M.
Trim Pump
1. Route trim lines L and ground cable assembly D in
to TSK. Do not attach lines and cable at this step.
2. Make sure new seal G is in pump cover
3. Route power supply harness through hole in TSK.
Make sure grommet on harness is seated in hole
in TSK. Reinstall connector housing on harness H
and then connect to engine harness
TIP: Lubricate the grommet with Vaseline® or
equivalent to ease assembly in to TSK.
NOTE:
Do not pull on power supply harness,
connections may come loose inside pump.
4. Bolt cover/pump assembly in to TSK.
NOTE:
Short leg of ground cable goes under lower
port bolt. Cable for bellows clamps and pivot
housing goes under port middle bolt.
5. Torque bolts B to 10 Nm, in a crossing pattern,
middle first.
Trim Lines and Ground Cable
Trim lines have color coded tie straps:
Red for port
Green for starboard
1. Make sure brass cups and o-rings are in place in
cylinder ports before attaching trim lines L to the
trim cylinders T.

2. Attach and tighten trim lines L. Ground cable D
should be mounted under the retainer bolt for the
inner trim line on each cylinder.
3. Torque trim line retainer bolts to 8 Nm.
4. Reinstall all clamps or retainers securing trim lines.
Fluid Fill and Check
1. Reconnect electrical power.
2. Remove cap F and fill pump reservoir with power
steering fluid, to top of fill neck.
3. With cap off, run system up and then down. With
cap off and system in down position (trim cylinder
rod IN), check fluid level, top if needed.
4. Repeat until fluid is at the top of the fill neck.
5. With system in down position (trim cylinder rod IN),
install cap.
6. Reinstall sterndrive and test system. Correct as
needed.
