2: Anti Masking Sensitivity:
" ON " selects a higher level of Anti Masking sensitivity.
" OFF " selects the standard Anti Masking sensitivity.
3: Resetting the "Trouble output":
" ON " resets the Trouble output after alarm.
" OFF " resets the Trouble output only when authorized.
4: How to signal "Trouble output":
" ON " signals the Anti Mask signals on both the TROUBLE and
ALARM relay.
signals the Technical Fault to TROUBLE relay only.
" OFF " signals the Anti Mask and Technical Fault on the ETO.
5: LED indication:
" ON " enables both LED's on the detector at all time.
" OFF " puts both LED's under the control of the Walk test and
Latch input when the system is disarmed.
6: Control voltage (CV) polarity (Fig.
"On" provides the standard Aritech logic with active high logic
to enable Walk Test and Latch inputs.
"OFF" provides "Active Low" logic to enable Walk Test and
Latch inputs.
Preferred settings
To prevent Anti Mask alarms during Armed state (Night
mode), the following settings are preferred:
Switch 1 "ON"
Switch 3 "OFF"
Switch 4 "OFF"
Switch 5 "OFF"
With these settings the Anti Mask alarms are signaled to the con-
trol panel only during Day by the Trouble relay. The LEDs are
controlled by the Latch and Walk Test input. Resetting of the Anti
Masking alarm can only be done in Walk Test mode.
Never show the detector state to intruders via the
LED's .
LED indications are controlled by DIP switch 5
If DIP switch 5 is "ON" then the following indications are
shown at all times.
If DIP switch 5 is "OFF" then the following indications are
only shown when the system is disarmed and the Walk Test
line is enabled.

Selecting the coverage pattern (Fig. )-c)
Change the coverage pattern to fit specific requirements by using
the mirror blinders as shown (Fig.
unused curtains, which might otherwise be looking at walls or
windows close to the detector.
For example:
See Fig. b for the mirror curtain coverage pattern corresponding
to curtain 2A and 2B, 7A and 9B masked.
Removing label(s) can damage the mirror surface!
Note: The range of the detector can, under optimal conditions,
be up to 100% higher than stated.
Window masking (Fig. d)
The window blinder is fitted off-factory to the inside of the window
of the detector, as shown in Fig.
detector looking directly at objects in close proximity (within 1.5 m)
and at those directly under the detector. By partly masking the
curtains in this way, the detector will be more stable during normal
use. When undercrawl detection is required, the blinder should
be removed.
