Turn the power on by sliding the lb
as you prefer.
2.
Push the Start/Zero button.
3.
If a blanket or other basket cover is to be used, place it on the scale. When the
display stops fluctuating, press the Start/Zero button again.
4.
When the display shows zero, place infant on the Baby Basket within 60 seconds.
5.
When the display begins flashing, weight calculation is complete.
6.
Remove infant from scale and then record weight. The weight will remain on the
display for two minutes.
7.
Although the BabyChecker will automatically turn off after about two minutes,
slide the lb•oz / off / kg switch to OFF. Then if the Start/Zero button is accidentally
pressed, the batteries will not be used.
WEIGHING TODDLERS
The unique design of the BabyChecker allows the Baby Basket to be removed and
used similarly to a regular bathroom scale. When weighing babies between 20 – 40
pounds or 10 – 20 kilograms, be sure the Baby Basket is not in place on the scale.
The figures below indicate the method of the display.
