Disconnect earth lead (-) from
battery for safety.
Install relay with connection
terminals pointing downwards so
that they are protected against
splashing water.
If required, and legally permissible,
install switch in dashboard.
Lay and connect wires according to
circuit diagram.
The table below shows which lights
can be combined with the fog
lamps.
The symbols mean: Fog lamps illuminate when they are switched on together with:
ø 12 mm
Dipped beam headlamps
Dipped beam headlamps and parking lamps
Parking lamps
One more tip:
Keep the lenses clean. Dirt can
absorb up to 80% of the light.
You drive more safely when you
can see and be seen well.
Reconnect earth lead (-) to battery.
Check lights, tighten connection
wires securely.
Have the fog lamps adjusted at
a workshop or service station.
Only properly adjusted lamps
provide optimum illumination
without dazzling on-coming
traffic.
The use of the enclosed
protective caps (enclosed where
applicable) is not permissible in
areas governed by German Traffic
Laws.
