6.2 Connecting the manual dimmer or external lighting controller
& adjusting light intensity (dimming)
The LED fixture can be connected to a manual dimming controller (included) or an external digital
lighting controller (sold separately) via the SIG IN port on the driver allowing light intensity (PPF level)
to be adjusted between 20% - 100% light output.
The LED fixture's light intensity can be adjusted without changing spectrum or losing efficiency. This
means that PPF can be adjusted to the correct level for propagation, cloning, vegetative and
flowering growth cycles without having to raise or lower fixture and maintaining an 1 x 1m light
spread.
The dimmer control or lighting controller is connected to the SIG IN connector on the fixture driver;
Undo dust-cap, ensure connectors are correctly aligned and then push together until click-locked.
To release: turn twist-lock anti-clockwise and pull apart.
6.3 Connecting fixtures together in series for external control
Connect lighting controller output signal wire to fixture 1 SIG IN connector by correctly aligning connectors
and pushing together until click-locked. Connect daisy chain control signal wire (sold separately) from
fixture 1 SIG OUT connector to fixture 2 SIG IN connector.
Daisy-chain control signal wire can be disconnected by turning twist-lock anti-clockwise to unlock and
pulling to release. Continue to connect fixtures in series for up to 100 fixtures per controller (50 per Zone).
