Getting started

3.1
Connection range
Do not place the weather station and outdoor sensor next to each other, otherwise there may be reception problems
due to radio interferences. Keep a distance of at least 1m between the two devices.
The maximum transmission range between outdoor sensor and weather station is up to 30m under optimal conditions.
The range will be reduced by many factors:
Walls, reinforced concrete ceilings
Trees, bushes, earth, rocks
Metal & conducting objects (eg radiators)
Broadband interferences in residential areas (DECT telephones, mobiles, radio controlled headphones, radio-
controlled speakers, other radio-controlled weather stations, babyphones etc.)
It is adviced to limit the distance between the weather station and the outdoor sensor.
3.2
Weather station power connection
Connect the adapter power plug into the power adapter connector
weather station.
Connect the power adapter in the main power wall connector.
3.3
Weather station battery installation
The batteries must be installed into the weather station prior to start a RCC reception, because they supply the internal
power for RCC reception.
