• Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or near children.
• Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer's recommended attachments.
• If vacuum or charger is not working as it should, has been dropped, damaged,
left outdoors, or dropped into water, return it to a service center for inspection. Call
1-877-697-5866 for the nearest service center.
• Do not handle charger, battery, or appliance with wet hands.
• Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any openings blocked; keep free
of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce airflow.
• This product includes rechargeable lithium-ion batteries. Do not incinerate the appliance
or battery even if it is severely damaged. The batteries can explode in a fire.
• Remove battery from appliance before any routine cleaning or maintenance.
• Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.
• Do not vacuum anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches or
hot ashes.
• Do not use the vacuum cleaner without filter and dirt cup in place.
• Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
• Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or use in
areas where they may be present.
• Leaks from battery cells can occur under extreme conditions. If any liquid gets on the
skin wash quickly with soap and water. If any liquid gets into the eyes,do not rub eyes,
immediately flush them with clean water continuously for a minimum of 15
minutes. Seek medical attention immediately.
• Use only the charger (Part# BH50005) supplied by the manufacturer to recharge.
• Store the vacuum cleaner indoors. Put the vacuum cleaner away after use to prevent
tripping accidents.
• Remove battery from appliance before connecting or disconnecting motorized nozzle.
• Use only battery (Part # BH50000) supplied by manufacturer to operate this product.

NOTICE:
This appliance contains a motor protective device that prevents high current flow to
the motor if an overload condition occurs. If the unit suddenly stops operating, turn off
and remove battery. Inspect the brush roll area for jams and refer to troubleshooting
guide if necessary. Once obstruction is cleared, return battery and continue use.

REGULAR MAINTENANCE: Each time the dirt cup is emptied, the filter should be brushed cleaned. (Filter will
be discolored after use. This will not affect the filter's performance.)

All three LEDS will momentarily light when the product's power switch is turned on. Then the battery fuel gauge will
indicate the pack's remaining capacity as noted below.

When used and maintained in normal household use and in accordance with the Owner's Manual, your Hoover
System™ appliances and batteries are warranted against original defects in material and workmanship for a six full
years from date of purchase (the "Warranty period"). During the Warranty Period, Hoover will provide labor and parts,
at no cost to you, to correct any such defect in appliances purchased in the United States, U.S. Military Exchange
and Canada.
HOW TO MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM
If this product is not as warranted, take or send the appliance to either a Hoover Sales and Service Center or Hoover
Authorized Warranty Service Dealers along with proof of purchase. For an automated referral to authorized service

WHAT THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER
This Warranty does not cover battery, charger, or filter. This Warranty does not cover: use of the product in a com-
mercial operation (such as maid, janitorial and equipment rental services), improper maintenance of the appliance,
damage due to misuse, acts of God, nature, vandalism or other acts beyond the control of Hoover, owner's acts or
omissions, use outside the country in which the appliance was initially purchased and resales of the appliance by the
original owner. This warranty does not cover pick up, delivery, transportation or house calls. However, if you mail your
appliance to a Hoover Sales and Service Center for warranty service, cost of shipping will be paid one way.
This warranty does not apply to appliances purchased outside the United States, including its territories and posses-
sions, a U.S. Military Exchange and Canada.
OTHER IMPORTANT TERMS
This Warranty is not transferable and may not be assigned. This Warranty shall be governed and construed under the
laws of the state of Ohio. The Warranty Period will not be extended by any replacement or repair performed under
this Warranty.
THIS WARRANTY IS THE EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY AND REMEDY PROVIDED BY HOOVER.
WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR
PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE DISCLAIMED. IN NO EVENT WILL HOOVER BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT,
INCIDENTIAL OR CONSENQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND OR NATURE TO OWNER OR ANY PARTY CLAIMING
THROUGH OWNER, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE, TORT OR STRICT PRODUCTS LIABLILTY OR
ARISING FROM ANY CAUSE WHATSOEVER. Some states do not allow the exclusion of consequential damages, so
the above exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific rights; you may also have others that
vary from state to state.
