INSTALLATION

Physical Installation

1. Adjust the flow by turning the flow control mechanism located on the front of the pump.
2. Place the pump in the water and ensure it is completely submerged.
• To use the provided suction cup feet, wet the cups' ends and slide them into the slots at the bot-
tom of the pump housing.
• Ensure that the pump's weight is adequately supported and NOT resting on the discharge con-
nection.
3. Fine tune to the desired flow rate by turning the flow control mechanism.

Electrical Connections

Connect the power cord to a constant source of power matching the pump nameplate voltage.
• The pump should be connected or wired to its own circuit, with no other electric receptacles or
equipment in the circuit. Do not connect to a fan or any device that runs intermittently.
• The fuses or circuit breaker should be of ample capacity.
• Connect to a circuit equipped with a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) if required by code.
IMPORTANT: If the power cord is damaged, the whole unit must be replaced.

counter-clockwise and remove it
from the pump body.
• If necessary, gently use pliers.
