- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufac-
turer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to
avoid a hazard!
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capa-
bilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved.
- Children shall not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
BEFORE USING YOUR SANDWICH TOASTER
- Before using your sandwich toaster for the first time, clean the
appliance and plates as described in the 'Cleaning' section.
- Brush a little butter on the plates, heat the appliance with the lid
open for 5 minutes and then remove any surplus butter.
- The sandwich toaster is ready for use.
OPERATION
Please read all instructions before using this appliance.
- Close the lid of the sandwich toaster.
- Plug the appliance into the power supply. The red indicator light will
illuminate to show that the sandwich toaster is heating.
- Prepare the bread and filling for your sandwich while the sandwich
toaster is pre-heating.
- Wait until the red indicator light go out. The sandwich toaster is then
at the correct temperature for use.
- Open the sandwich toaster by pulling the handle latch outwards and
lifting lid.
- For golden toasted sandwiches, spread butter on the outside of the
bread. Beware of some spreads which are not suitable for toasting.
Always select bread of a suitable size to fit the plates. Place the
filling between the unbuttered sides of bread. Ensure the sandwi-
ches are evenly filled to assist with even browning. Place the sand-
wiches into the appliance.
