failures are notified to user by indicator on device.
◊ Information packets are verified for accuracy. Any erroneous packet
messages are re-attempted. In addition, cyclic redundancy checks and
packet format checks improve the quality of the link.
◊ User may re-try the command.
Summary of Wireless Functions and Technology
The Axonics Sacral Neuromodulation System® utilizes the FCC MedRadio (401
MHz – 406 MHz) frequency band. It utilizes a proprietary wireless technology.
Access to the Axonics IPG/EPG via MedRadio is limited, by design, to the
following Axonics system components: 1) Patient Remote (PR) which is uniquely
paired to a given IPG/EPG, 2) Clinician Programmer (CP), and 3) Charging Device
(CD), only used with IPG.
The Axonics Sacral Neuromodulation System® complies to the EMC and wireless
requirements of the following standards:

• ANSI IEEE C63.27:2017
• IEC 60601-1-2:2014, 4th ed
• IEC 60601-1-11:2015, 2nd ed.
