Ba ery Change Indicator
When the ba eries need replacing the following will appear on the screen: LO
LO
Please open the back board of the scale, then take the ba eries carefully out of the ba ery compartment.
Please push the metal sheet outwards by your fi nger nails or a sharp instrument.
The ba ery will pop up. Do not bend the contacts back while you do this, or they may break. Dispose of
the old ba eries in a safe place. Do not place on fi re.
Care and A en on
• Place your scale on a hard fl at surface will ensure the greatest accuracy and repeatability
• Always weigh yourself on the same scale placed on the same fl oor surface. Uneven fl oors may
aff ect the readings.
• Always weigh yourself without clothing or footwear, and before meals. The fi rst thing in the morning
is the best me.
• Clean your scale with a damp cloth but do not allow water to get inside the scale. Do not use any
chemical clearing agents.
• Do not allow your scale to become saturated with water as this can damage the electronics
components.
• Do not store the scale in an upright posi on when not in use as this will drain the ba eries.
• Remove the ba eries if the scales are not going to be used for a long period of me.
• Treat your scale with care as it is a precision instrument, do not drop it or jump up or down on it.

point or place it in an appropriate container so it can then be treated.
Do the same when disposing of used ba eries.
Never throw the apparatus or ba eries away with domes c rubbish. By observing this you will help look
