Attaching saws with three mounting holes to saw
mounting brackets (Such as the Skil 3800 Miter
Saw):
See Figures 6 - 7.
1. Attach support bar (7) to rear carriage bolt of both
mounting brackets, as shown in figure 6.
2. Secure in place using a flat washer (8), lock washer
(9), and nut (10).
3. Unplug the saw and lock the saw arm in the down
position.
4. Lift and lower the saw down onto the brackets,
feeding the front carriage bolts through the front
mounting holes of the saw.
5. Insert a 5/16 in. x 2 in. carriage bolt (11) through the
support bar (7) and rear mounting hole of the saw.
5. Secure the three bolts using a flat washer (12), lock
washer (13), and nut (14).
6. After making sure both brackets are parallel to each
other, finger tighten all four nuts to hold in position.
