Water by its nature contains magnesium, mineral salts and other deposits which in hard water areas can contribute to limescale
build up in the tank.
To avoid these problems, it is necessary to swill out with water and empty the generator tank after every 3 or 4 uses. In very
hard water areas we recommend the use of Vinegar Solution (75%water+25%vinegar) to clean the tank.
* To clean the body of the appliance, simply use a moist cloth. Do not use solvents or detergents which may harm the body
material.
* We decline liability for any damage or accident derived from any use of the steam generator which is not in conformity with
the instructions contained in this booklet.
MAINTENANCE FOR BOILER
* Before attempting any maintenance operation, always disconnect the appliance from the mains.
* Clean the boiler every 8 to 10 cumulative working hours.
* The way to clean the boiler:
– Wait for the machine cooling down, then unscrew the drain cover and drain nut to pour out the remaining water.
– After more than 200 hours of usage, the boiler needs to remove scale.
We recommend the use of Vinegar solution (75% water+25% vinegar) to clean the tank.
– When the machine is totally cooling down, unscrew the drain cover and the drain nut to put 500ml Vinegar solution into the
boiler.
– Screw the drain nut and heating up the machine for 1 minute. Turn off the machine, and let Vinegar solution in boiler for
1 hour, and then drain it out, and use clear water to wash the boiler.

Cleaning the soleplate
Any deposits and other residue material on the soleplate can be removed using a cloth soaked in a water and vinegar solution.
Always dry the soleplate with a dry cloth.
Cleaning the iron
Clean plastic parts with a damp, non-abrasive cloth and dry them with a dry cloth.
CHANGING THE ANTI-SCALE CARTRIDGE
According to the water quality and the duration of usage, replace the antiscale cartridge after 50 hours of accumulated usage.
After removing the water tank from the base unit, simply lift out the old antiscale cartridge, insert a new one after refilling the
water tank.
