1. Move splitting wedge to desired position.
The upper position of the ram wedge travel should
be about 3~5cm over the logs to be split (Fig.13).
2. Release a control lever or switch off motor
3. Release the Setscrew (A) with L key.
Raise Adjusting Rod (B) until Adjusting Rod (B)
is started to be stopped by the spring inside.
Tighten the Setscrew (A).
4. Release both control levers or switch on motor
5. Check upper position of splitting wedge.
5.4- Placing log on splitter
5.4.1- For PREHLS52 / 042001 ; PREHLS52/5 / 042031 and PREHLS7T / 042011
Set the log firmly on the log retaining plates and work table (Fig.14 & 15).
Make sure the log will not twist, rock or slip while being split.
Do not force the blade by splitting the log on the upper part. This will break the blade or damage the
machine.

5.4.2- For PREHLS7T/V/042021
a) Place the log onto the support table vertically and sitting flat on the support table.
Be sure the wedge and support table will contact the log squarely on the ends.
Never attempt to split a log at an angle.
b) Adjust the Log Holders (A) according to the diameter of the log to obtain most comfortable Control
Levers angle (Fig.16).
c) Hold the log with clamping brackets closely in the control lever guards (Fig.17).
Never open clamping brackets while log is moving!

5.5- Starting the log splitter
5.5.1- For PREHLS52 / 042001 ; PREHLS52/5 / 042031 and PREHLS7T / 042011
These log splitters are equipped with "ZHB" control system that requires to be operated by both hands
of the user:
- the left hand controls the hydraulic control lever (11)
- the right hand controls the pushbutton switch (9).
