devolo Home Network App
The app detects the new or unconfigured
devolo WiFi 5 Repeater 1200 automatically. A wiz-
ard guides you quickly and easily through the pro-
cess for setting up the device as a Wi-Fi repeater or
access point (see 3.2.1 Installation via app).
Web interface of the device
Set up the device as a Wi-Fi repeater or access
point manually by using the web interface of the
devolo WiFi 5 Repeater 1200 (see 3.2.2 Installa-
tion via web interface).
WPS activation with the device button
You can carry out an automatic set-up of the de-
vice as a Wi-Fi repeater by pressing the WPS button
(see Configuration via WPS).

3.2.1Installation via app

The devolo Home Network App is devolo's free
app that allows you to monitor and configure (via
smartphone or tablet) the Wi-Fi and Ethernet con-
nection of the devolo WiFi 5 Repeater 1200 adapt-
ers. Your smartphone or tablet connects via Wi-Fi
to the devolo WiFi 5 Repeater 1200 at home.

Download the devolo Home Network App to
your smartphone or tablet computer from the
corresponding store.

The devolo Home Network App is put on the
app list of your smartphone or tablet as usual.
Tapping on the devolo Home Network App
icon brings you to the start menu.

Then follow the prompts of the wizard.
As soon as the status bar has been run
through and the Wi-Fi LED (see Chapter
2.1.2 Reading the Wi-Fi indicator light)
on the device is lit up green, the
devolo WiFi 5 Repeater 1200 has been suc-
cessfully configured as a repeater.
