PROTECTIVE FEATURES

• An electronic protection circuit prevents damage
if charging clips are short circuited. First bar on
display blinks if this occurs.
NOTE: An electronic protection circuit prevents
damage if charging cables are connected
with reverse polarity. The
blink alternately on display if this occurs.
• If room temperature increases, charger will reduce
the charging current and interrupt charging
operation if necessary. As soon as unit cools,
charging resumes.
• If battery fails to reach a certain voltage value within
a predetermined time, charger will automatically
shut off.

After battery charger automatically shuts off:
1. Unplug charger from AC wall outlet.
2. Disconnect charger from battery.
3. Investigate reason for safety shut off.
