TOUCH
The SDP-2 has three levels (low, normal and
high) of key sensitivity or "touch." This affects the
response and volume of the piano as you play the
keys.
To set the keyboard sensitivity, press the
[METRONOME] and [TEMPO] buttons together to
enter edit mode.
Select the desired touch level by pressing the
corresponding piano key:
F#1 = Low Sensitivity, G#1 = Normal Sensitivity, A#1
= High Sensitivity
The sensitivity level selected will be shown on the
display.
The touch settings can also be turned off meaning
that, regardless of how hard you play the keys, the
piano will transmit a velocity value of 100%. To
do this, enter the edit mode as described above,
and then press key F1 to enable the "touch fixed"
setting. "Off" will be shown on the display.
