To check proper strap tension, put on the
helmet and fasten the buckle. Open your
mouth. You should feel the strap pulling
against your chin. Then try taking off the
helmet by pulling it forward and backward.
If the helmet comes off, increase the strap
tension. The helmet should not move
excessively. It should not be possible to take
off the helmet without unfastening the buckles.

It is very important that the helmet fits snugly
on your head and is fastened properly in order
to provide maximum protection.
NOTE: whenever you make an adjustment,
check and make sure that the helmet is

securely and comfortably fastened before
setting off.
HELMET CARE
Cleaning the helmet
Clean the helmet with neutral soap and water.
Using hydrocarbons, detergents, paints or
decals may damage the helmet and make it
ineffective in the event of an accident.
Keep the helmet away from heat sources
The helmet may be damaged if exposed to
temperatures exceeding 65°C (150°F). The
transport of the helmet on the car trunk or in
dark backpacks is not recommended because
of the excess of these temperature. A helmet
damaged by heat will have deformed areas
and irregular surfaces or bubbles. If damaged,
the helmet should no longer be used and
immediately be replaced.
Important information

a blow by partial destruction or damage of the
helmet. In the event of an accident or impact,
the helmet should be replaced even if it does
not show any visible damage.
Unfortunately, some accidents may cause head
injury that cannot be prevented by ANY helmet.
Irrespective of the type of impact, severe or
fatal accidents can happen even at very low
speeds. Always ride carefully and thoroughly
read this manual.
