Programming the remote control for devices made by
other manufacturers
Using the button, you can set the remote control for different devices made by other
manufacturers. For this, you will need the original remote control of the relevant device. In this
procedure, the button functions of the device's remote control will be transferred to the DIGITAL
HOME remote control.
Transferring button functions of individual buttons
► Place the infrared interfaces of both remote controls opposite one another.
► Press the button for about 5 seconds.
The LED of the button will light up.
► Press the button on the DIGITAL HOME remote control whose function is to be transferred
from the device's original remote control.
The LED of the button will flash rapidly.
► Press the corresponding button on the original remote control of the device.
The button will flash three times and then remain switched on.The button functions of the button
are now transferred to the DIGITAL HOME remote control.
You can now transfer other button settings.
► Press the button when you want to leave programming mode.
The LED of the button will go out.
You are now in standard operating mode.
Depending on the infrared code to be learnt:

► Press the original remote control button briefly, or press and hold it.
In exceptions, the infrared code must be transferred twice per button.
