FIRST USE OF THE ELECTRIC KETTLE
• Read all safety and operating instructions carefully before using the Kettle for the first
time. An adult should provide close supervision if Kettle is being used by children or
handicapped or infirm.
• Remove all packaging material and check whether the appliance is undamaged
and complete.
• Fully unwind the power cord and make sure that the power cord is clamped into
the cable guide
• Place the appliance on an even and heat resistant surface. Do not place it on
top of a metal surface.
• Connect the appliance to a properly installed wall socket and boil 4-5 kettles of water
using fresh water with each boiling cycle. Do not use this water but pour it away.
WARNING: Plastic bags are a danger to toddlers and babies, therefore keep them
away to avoid suffocation.
