again for three(3) seconds until the blue indicator light turns off, signifying that the IR
function is now turned off.
6. AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF FUNCTION
In the following instances, MeCam will save video data and shut-off automatically:
Battery power is about to run out when you are recording – the device will save the
video file first, and then shut off automatically.
MeCam disk space is full – the blue/purple indicator light will consistently flash very
quickly. The device will save the video file first and then shut-off automatically.
In standby mode for an extended period of time without any operation – the device
will automatically shut-off.
7. DOWNLOADING TO YOUR COMPUTER FROM M
When the device is in either the 'Off', 'Standby' or 'Recording' modes, the machine can be
connected to the computer directly. It can be used as another disk drive and
software/documents can be freely copied, pasted, deleted.
STEPS. Follow the below steps when attempting to download data from your MeCam
device onto your Mac or PC:
1.
Connect the device to the computer via the USB cable.
2.
The removable disk drive will then appear after a few seconds.
3.
You are now ready to safely playback your files from your MeCam.
TIPS.
Following connecting your MeCam device/USB cord to computer, computer does
not recognize the machine or there is no removable disk logo – If either your
computer fails to identify the MeCam device or there is no removable disk logo after
30 seconds, try re-plugging the USB cord and MeCam device again (make sure the
micro-SD card is inserted into the device).
Best video quality – Downloading the video file to your computer first before playing
it will ensure best the playback quality. To do this, drag the video file from the
removable disk onto your computer's desktop or any file/folder of your choosing for
storage. If you play the file from the MeCam directly, video quality most likely will
not be smooth. This is due to an overload of data and the data transmission
process cannot keep up.
8. OPERATING CONDITIONS (TEMPERATURE/HUMIDITY)
Please do not use MeCam in extreme temperatures (hot of cold) or in unreasonably humid
conditions as this will affect the electrical components within the device. MeCam is not
