The overcharged led and the MIN battery will flash alternatively with variable frequency following the applied charge. The more
often the light flashes the more it's next to a overchargement and less becomes the autonomy.
PERFORMANCE: the device STAR 500 is made of: inverter, accumulators, accumulator chargers, filters and control logic. The
net allows the accumulators to stay charged and through the filters supply directly the charge connected, if the net is faulty the
inverter replaces it automatically keeping the exit power supply continuous.
When the unit works in absences of electric power until the batteries are completely exhausted, it is neccessary to recharge it for
at least 2 hours through the electric net, before the unit can restore itself. If this does not occure in case of another power failure
the unit will not be able to guaranty the continuity of the service.
It is possible to increase the number of cycles adding external batteries, but this will take a longer recharging time.
Attention: The number of cycles that the automation will execute depends on the abosrbed current by the charge, both in stand
by and with motors in movement. Anyway, always refer to board 2.
Attention: The product Star 500 has been planed for periodic intermittent service of S2 class.
For a correct application of the product follow the following board:
Note: Board 2 refers to the use of the STAR 500 at a constant temperature of ca. 20° C.
Ex: With a charge of 500VA, to not be dammaged the STAR 500 can work for max. 2 consecutive minutes, than it must stop for at
least 8 min., afterwards it can start over functioning for other 2 minutes.
INTENDED USE
The device STAR 500 has been specifically designed to be solely used as temporary power supply system in case of power
supply off.

Please dispose of this product packaging in a responsible, appropriate way.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Cleaning and maintenance of this unit must be carried out by authorised, qualified personnel.
DECOMMISSIONING
If the STAR 500 is to be taken out of service, this work must only be undertaken by authorised, qualified personnel.
