TROUGH BOX
It is recommended, to have a combi-
trough readily available that has
already been cleaned in a dish-
washer, so that the combi-trough
has simply to be replaced.
Rotate the sash fastener (1) to the
side. (fig. 51)
Remove the box (2) by carefully
pulling it downwards out of the motor
housing. (fig. 51)
Do not insert the box at an angle
as the hooks (3) could be broken
off. (fig. 51)
For hygienic reasons clean the
combi-trough at 60°C in the dish-
washer.

Make especially sure that the
troughs are thoroughly cleaned
when delivering cocoa containing
beverages.
If no dishwasher is available:
Wear suitable protective gloves
during the cleaning procedure.
There is the risk of being
scalded by hot water !
Fill a sufficiently large vessel with at
least 8 l (2 gallons) of hot water
(80°C, 176°F).
Add 40 ml of Cafitesse special
cleaning agent.
Observe the correct ratio between
water and the Cafitesse special
cleaning agent. (refer to the bottle
containing the cleaning agent)
Soak the trough box and the combi
trough for ±15 minutes in the lye.
Make sure that all parts are fully
submersed in the lye.
Subsequently rinse the parts with
warm water.
