WARRANTY
This is to certify that the Universal Group Cycling Monitor is guaranteed by Direction Technology to be free
from all defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty does not apply to any defect caused by
negligence, misuse, accident, alteration, improper maintenance or an 'act of God'. The Universal Group
Cycling Monitor can be adapted to virtually any cycling or indoor spinning bicycle. The Universal Group
Cycling Monitor comes with a one-year warranty on the speed sensor and console. The batteries are not
guaranteed. Please contact our customer Service Department to report any problems.
When calling, please provide the customer service representative with the following warranty replacement
parts. It may be necessary to return the defective part. We reserve the right to make changes and
improvements to our products without any obligation to change products similarly purchased previously. To
maintain the warranty and to ensure the safe and efficient operation of your monitor, only Direction
Technology spare parts may be used.
NOTES
The Universal Group Cycling Monitor system is designed as sealed units and must 1 - not be opened except
for the sole purpose of installing batteries. Any open unit will void the warranty.
2 - To clean the Universal Group Cycling Monitor, use a soft cloth with a cleaning solution or disinfectant and
dry with a soft towel. Use of any abrasive cleaning solution will void the warranty.
3 - The Universal Group Cycling system is not waterproof; it is only water resistant. Any excessive exposure to
water will void the warranty.
