Mounting of the insert stop

An insert stop must be mounted in the mixing valve of heating circuits with a standard 3-way
mixing valve.
After the installation of the heat flowmeter, the front insulation of the heating circuit must
possibly be adapted to the housing form of the heat flowmeter. For this purpose, cut out the
insulation with a suitable knife. Please observe the instruction manual of the heating circuit
for the installation of the insulation.

1. Dismount the adapter pieces of the adapter pipe
first and mount them on the heat flowmeter.
2. Mount the heat flowmeter with the transition
thread connections in the return of the
heating circuit.
3. Screw the thread connections tight.
4. The thermometer ball valves are respectively
equipped with 2 sleeves G¼" which are sealed
with a plug. These sleeves can be used to mount
the temperature sensors of the heat flowmeter.
Put the insert stop [C-3] from below into the return
of the mixing valve [C-2] (see figure).
Make sure to insert the insert stop such that it opens
in flow direction (see the marking on the mixing valve
housing).
