3.4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
a)
Unplug the mains plug and allow the device to cool
completely before each cleaning, adjustment or
replacement of accessories, or if the device is not
being used. Wait for the rotating elements to stop.
b)
Use only non-corrosive cleaners to clean the surface.
c)
Store the unit in a dry, cool place, free from moisture
and direct exposure to sunlight.
d)
Do not spray the device with a water jet or submerge
it in water.
e)
Do not allow water to get inside the device through
vents in the housing of the device.
f)
The device must be regularly inspected to check its
technical efficiency and spot any damage.
g)
Use a soft cloth for cleaning.
h)
Do not use sharp and/or metal objects for cleaning
(e.g. a wire brush or a metal spatula) because they
may damage the surface material of the appliance.
i)
Do not clean the device with an acidic substance,
agents of medical purposes, thinners, fuel, oils or
other chemical substances because it may damage
the device.
j)
At least once a year, clean the motor from
accumulated dust and other contaminants using
a vacuum cleaner or compressed air.
k)
Clean the treadmill belt with a damp cloth, taking
care not to let moisture get onto the electrical
components of the machine.
l)
Regularly lubricate the friction elements of the belt
with the supplied oil. Lubricate once a year or every
3 months depending on the frequency of use,
m)
Regularly check the tension of the treadmill belt.
When too loose, it may slip. When too tight, it
may make noise during operation and, as a result,
contribute to faster wear of the parts. A perfectly
tightened belt can be lifted in the centre of the
treadmill to a height of 50-75 mm.
CENTERING THE TREADMILL BELT
With the treadmill on a level surface, run the machine at
6-8 km / h and watch the belt. Stop the treadmill and if

LUBRICATION
Proper lubrication of the panel under the belt and the roller
bearings of belt tensioners guarantees its trouble-free and
long operation. After approx. 25 hours of operation or 2-3
months, apply some special oil (included with the device)
and repeat the operation after every 50 hours or every 5-6
months.
To check the belt for proper lubrication, lift one side of the
belt and check its underside. If it is smooth to the touch, it
does not require lubrication. If dry, lubricate it.
To lubricate the belt, lift one section of the belt and apply
oil to the roller side of the treadmill lubricator. Then run
the treadmill for 3-5 minutes to allow the oil to distribute
evenly.
